Not all paths are equal

It may be the case that “all roads lead to Rome” — which was the case for roads within the Roman Empire — but not all paths are equal. There are rough paths, smooth paths, long paths, short paths, paths over mountains, and tunnels through the mountain. There are single-track paths through the woods, and there are superhighways.

And let’s not forget about signage! Some paths leave you wondering where you are, how much further, and which way to turn. And other paths are well marked.

There are different paths, with different qualities. And, practically speaking, paths that are too difficult are not travelled. Difficulty of travel and completion of travel are anti-correlated. And so it is with meditative techniques that lead to enlightenment.

“The current Dalai Lama meditates for four hours each morning, and he says that it is hard work. He elaborates that if neuroscience can construct a way in which he can reap the psychological and biological rewards without going through the practice each morning, he would adopt the innovation.” – Scientific American,

Meditation is a well-known practice these days, even if it is not as practiced as well, or as frequently, as it is known. But because the dominant culture is so stressed out, anxious, and depressed, meditation is seen too often as simply a survival tool. Sure, the benefits of meditation include stress relief, freedom from anxiety & depression. But few people get to experience “real” meditation — with real transformation, taking you to new heights, breaking barriers, and permanently changing the way you view the world.

If meditation is so well known, then why aren’t people getting “real” results?

Because, simply put, your own brain is holding you back. But you can learn a technique and participate in a mystery school that will awaken your brain quickly so that you can experience meditation like never before and move rapidly along the journey to enlightenment.

Your brain is still evolving

Like depictions of the human brain, the human brain itself is evolving.  The human brain evolved in layers. And the lower, survival brain is still with us, and it’s still the dominant way we process the world. Our brains have evolved enough to create, and understand, a certain level of complexity.

Well done, humans.

But the complexity of the world is increasing faster than our brain is currently able to process. Complexity is increasing faster than our higher brain can function because of lower brain dominance and its resistance to change. And that is causing stress. A lot of stress.

The effects of a stressed-out brain

Just look around you… In 2022, there is more stress than ever, and it’s getting worse. Here are some startling statistics about the effects of stress.

  • According to research cited by the American Institute of Stress, 90% of all visits to the doctor’s office are stress related.
  • According to a recent study, death rates from suicides, alcohol and drug overdoses reach all-time high in the United States.
  • According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, between the years 2000 to 2017, the suicide rate in people ages 45 to 65 INCREASED by 40% to 66%
  • According to American Addiction Centers, in 2017, almost 74% of adults suffering from a substance use disorder struggled with an alcohol use disorder. And about 38% of all adults battled an illicit drug use disorder.

When we are so stressed out, we don’t have the additional brain metabolism to send to parts of the brain responsible for thriving and for feeling a purpose to our life. Without a purpose, we lose hope, feel anxiety, anger, depression, guilt, and shame.

How can you meditate when you’re stressed out?

You can’t. Traditional meditation requires us to direct our focus inwards. But focusing requires the higher, thriving brain to be active and functioning. But the lower brain is so dominant that it’s impossible to meditate in any appreciable way.

BUT…

What if you were able to increase brain metabolism and activate the Higher Brain before meditating? How would your life be different if you were stress-free, clear, confident, and focused every day? Imagine having deep enlightenment experiences that led to inner peace and clarity in any situation or life circumstance. Imagine having experienced guides & mentors to take you through all the steps through this new, unknown territory. And when is the right time for you to start this journey, and to have this life?
